How the Fleet Stays Identical

One config, one network, any machine can pick up the work. Here's how the fleet behind MOTION actually runs.

People keep asking about the fleet. I run a handful of machines — my M2, a couple of Mac minis — and they all stay identical. That's not luck; it's three boring tools doing one job each.

chezmoi manages my dotfiles, so every machine gets the same config from one source of truth. Tailscale puts them all on one private network, so I can reach any of them from anywhere. SSH is how the agents actually run work across them.

The payoff: when I talk into Wispr, it lands in one place, and any machine can pick up the job because they're all the same. No snowflake laptop, no "works on mine." That's the fleet.
